Gregg Allman Gearing Up for Fall Solo Tour Dates

Photo: Danny ClinchWhile The Allman Brothers Band has finished its scheduled tour itinerary for 2012, frontman Gregg Allman will keep busy this fall with a series of solo engagements. The singer currently has seven U.S. shows lined up, spanning from an October 5 concert in Westhampton Beach, New York, through a November 10 appearance at the Sun & Sand Festival in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Prior to his solo headlining shows, Allman will participate in a pair of special events. This Friday and Saturday, ***** sit in with the Zac Brown Band at the country group's Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in Nashville. Gregg also is part of the star-studded Love for Levon tribute concert honoring late Band singer/drummer Levon Helm, taking place October 3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
