The Who Announces Opening Act for North American Tour

MSO PRThe Who announced in a press release that the Los Angeles band Vintage Trouble will open the first part of their first North American tour in four years that begins November 1 in Sunrise, Florida. The tour will feature songs from The Who's 1973 double album Quadrophenia as well as other classics.  The first leg will run through December 9 in Uncasville, Connecticut. The second leg begins January 28, 2013 in Anaheim, California and ends February 26 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be joined on stage by drummer Zak Starkey, bass player Pino Palladino, and Pete's younger Simon Townshend on guitar/backing vocals, among others.  

Pete Townshend will also release his autobiography Who I Am on October 1.  On October 31, VH1 will air the documentary film Quadrophenia - Can You See Real Me which recently debuted in theaters.
