Warner Bros. RecordsStevie Nicks' documentary,  In Your Dreams - Stevie Nicks will premiere October 7 at the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York's East Hampton.  It was previously announced that the film will also be featured at the 20th annual Mill Valley Film Festival in California on October 12.  Nicks co-directed and co-produced the film with Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics.

New details have been revealed about the documentary based on her 2011 CD, In Your Dreams, Nicks' seventh and latest solo project.

The film follows Nicks as she recorded the disc in 2010.  We see her with Stewart and other friends and colleagues including Mick Fleetwood and Reese Witherspoon at her mansion in the hills of Los Angeles.  According to a press release, the film captures Nicks enjoying costume parties, dinners and tap dancing, as well as writing and recording the music.

In Your Dreams also presents a never-before-seen personal scrapbook of photos from Nicks' childhood and family life, as well as backstage and performance shots from her entire career. 

Stewart comments, "I think you see in this film that Stevie just tells it like it is.  She is who she is, and she doesn't change."
