Photo: Jonathon KingsburyFormer Bangle  Susanna Hoffs' latest CD Someday is her third solo album, her first solo release since 1996, and Wednesday she debuted the video for "Picture Me" on Rollingstone.com.

She says young people's fascinating with social media inspired the video. "I am fascinated by how the 20-something generation invented the phenomenon of social media as a way to communicate, connect, and share their lives and stories with friends through pictures,"  Hoffs tells Rolling Stone.  "The concept for this video was to spend an afternoon with three real couples, all in their twenties, and document their interaction -- including the way they attempt to capture fleeting moments shared with their partner in photographs which, to me, is both bittersweet and hopeful, like the tone of the song."

The founding member of The Bangles is also launching a new solo tour beginning October 29 in Atlanta.
