Photo: Sam EricksonSteve Winwood is preparing to hit the road this fall for a new series of North American tour dates. The trek will see the former Traffic/Blind Faith/Spencer Davis Group star visit more than a dozen cities, mostly on the West Coast and in the southwestern U.S.
The tour gets under way on November 9 in Las Vegas and is scheduled through a November 28 concert in San Antonio, Texas.
Meanwhile, a deluxe edition of Winwood's second solo album, Arc of a Diver, is due out on October 16, according to Amazon.com. The two-CD set will include a bonus disc featuring audio from a BBC radio documentary, the single version of the title track, a 2010 radio edit of "Spanish Dancer" and an instrumental rendition of the song "Night Train." Released in January 1981, Arc of a Diver reached #3 on the Billboard 200 chart and yielded the top 10 hit "When You See a Chance."
