Photo: Ross HalfinAlice Cooper fans will have the chance to experience a spooky high seas adventure next year with the shock rocker.
Cooper's signed on to participate in a new horror-themed cruise that will set sail during the 2013 Halloween season. The inaugural Ship of Fear: A Horror Cruise will features special performances by Cooper and Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, as well as appearances by a variety of actors and directors from famous fright flicks.
The cruise leaves from Miami on October 28, 2013, and will make several stops in the Bahamas before returning to port on November 2. Among the stars from the horror film world who will be making the journey are Gremlins director Joe Dante and star Zach Galligan; Eddy "Chucky" Gale of the Child's Play movies; Kane Hodder, who's portrayed Jason in four of the Friday the 13th flicks; Candyman actor Tony Dodd; and Pet Sematary director Mary Lambert. Tom Holland, who directed Child's Play and Fright Night, will serve as the cruise's host.
The trip will offer a variety of activities, including movie screenings, celebrity Q&A sessions and meet-and-greets, a zombie-themed party and costume contest, memorabilia displays and a special Halloween bash held on the beach of the Bahamian island Half Moon Cay.
