XIX EntertainmentA new video featuring a duet between Elvis Presley and his daughter, Lisa Marie, will premiere this Thursday on CMT and CMT.com between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. ET/PT. The clip was shot to accompany a recently produced version of "I Love You Because," an early recording by the late King of Rock 'n' Roll, to which Lisa Marie added her vocals. The song and video were created for, and were debuted at, the special concert commemorating the 35th anniversary of Elvis' death that took place this past August 16 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
Meanwhile, the "I Love You Because" duet will be released as a digital single on Tuesday, while the video also will be made available for purchase digitally via iTunes starting on Thursday, October 25.
The "I Love You Because" clip features rare home movies of Elvis and Lisa Marie, as well as family photos of her own four children.
Elvis' original rendition of "I Love You Because" was recorded in 1954 at Memphis' Sun Studio during the same session that yielded his hit "That's All Right." The song also appeared on his first album. Lisa Marie laid down her vocals for the track in early August.
Lisa Marie kicks off a series of fall U.S. concerts in support of her latest album, Storm and Grace, with a two-night stand in Tunica, Mississippi, on November 2 and 3. Visit LisaMariePresley.com for more info on her tour.
