Christopher Polk/Getty ImagesNeil Diamond coaxed a reluctant George Clooney into an impromptu duet rendition of his classic hit "Sweet Caroline" over the weekend at the 26th annual Carousel of Hope Ball fundraiser in Los Angeles. As video of the singalong posted online shows, Diamond handled most of the actual singing, while ****** simply echoed "so good, so good, so good" at the appropriate spots.
According to EW.com, Clooney was at the event to receive the Brass Ring Award for his support of humanitarian efforts in Haiti and the Darfur region of Sudan. He received the honor from Shirley MacLaine, who called him "most generous, sweetest, charming human being." The 2012 Carousal of Hope Ball raised $2.5 million to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
