John Shearer/WireImageNeil Young, a notorious proponent of all things analog, made a concerted step toward the digital age last month when he launched his own Twitter account. At the time, the folk-rock legend announced that he planned to use the social networking service to directly answer questions from fans for the first time, via a chat event held in conjunction with the Legends on Twitter series. Young has now revealed details of the online Q&A, which will start Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET.
To participate in the chat, fans can tweet questions to Young's Twitter account @neilyoung using the hashtag #AskNeil.
In other news, Young's upcoming album with Crazy Horse, Psychedelic Pill, will be streamed live in its entirety on his official website starting on Wednesday. Fans will be able to listen to the recording until Tuesday, the record's release date. Official videos for three songs from Psychedelic Pill, "Twisted Road," "Walk Like a Giant" and the 16-plus-minute epic "Ramada Inn," can be viewed now at Young's YouTube channel.
