RobinGibb.comWhen The Bee Gees' Robin Gibb **** at age 62 this past May 20, he left behind a wealth of classic pop music, and he also left a sizable fortune to his family. U.K. newspaper The Sun reports that the singer's estate recently was revealed to be worth an estimated $150 million.
Gibb's assets are expected to be split between his widow, Dwina; their son, Robin John ("RJ"); and his two children from his first marriage, Melissa and Spencer. However, according to The Sun, it may take a long as five years for lawyers to sort out the late pop star's estate, since a lot of his money was tied up in various businesses and real estate investments.
Among the properties owned by Gibb are his family home in Thame, England, worth about $15 million; a Miami Beach mansion valued at about $3.7 million; and a house in the South Kensington area of London worth in the vicinity of $12.8 million.
Prior to his death, Gibb reportedly paid out an $8 million settlement to his former housekeeper, Claire Yang, with whom he fathered a child -- a daughter named Snow -- in 2008.
