Aerosmith to Host Pre-Election Day, Pre-Album Release Party in Boston on November 5

Photo: Ross HalfinAerosmith's latest album, Music from Another Dimension!, will be released on Tuesday, November 6, which also happens to be Election Day. To celebrate the arrival of the new record, and to encourage citizens to get out and vote, the rockers will return to their hometown of Boston for a special event on Monday, November 5.

The band -- singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joey Kramer -- will show up at an as-yet-unannounced location in Boston that day at noon ET and rock out for fans. Aerosmith will reveal the site of their pre-Election Day party on the morning of the bash.

"Anyone who votes is a 'Freedom Fighter,'" says Perry, referencing the title to one of the new Aerosmith tunes.

On November 8, two days after the release of Music from Another Dimension!, Aerosmith kicks off the second leg of its Global Warming World Tour. The new trek gets under way in Oklahoma City and is scheduled to run through a December 13 show in Nashville.
