RonnieWood.comRolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is preparing to walk down the aisle early next year, and he reportedly is considering having two of his most famous musical collaborators serve as his best men. According to Mirror.co.uk, a friend of Wood's says the 65-year-old rocker would like his former Faces band mate Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, as well as one or more of his sons, to do the honors when Ronnie walks down the aisle with his 34-year-old fiancée, Sally Humphreys.
"He has joked he wants 'about five' best men but he is mainly looking at his mate Rod, band mate Keith and one of his sons," the unnamed friend recently told Sunday People. "If he can have them all, he will."
Wood has two sons -- 35-year-old Jesse and 27-year-old Tyrone -- as well as a 39-year-old stepson named Jamie.
Wood reportedly got engaged to Humphreys, a theater producer, at the London premiere of the new Stones documentary Crossfire Hurricane in October. The couple have known each other for years, but only began dating about six months ago.
The friend says that Wood is eyeing "a New Year's Day wedding," adding that he and Humphreys don't quite see eye to eye on the size of celebration.
"He wants to start 2013 with a big party," notes the friend. "Sally would be happy with a few close friends and family."
