Photo: Jo LopezNot only did Bruce Springsteen and former Pink Floyd singer/bassist Roger Waters both perform at the Stand Up for Heroes benefit on Thursday, they also were among the big winners at the 2012 Billboard Touring Awards. The Boss took home the Top Draw prize, which recognizes the artist whose tour had the highest attendance. Waters' The Wall Live Tour, meanwhile, was victorious in the Top Tour category, which acknowledges the highest-grossing trek.
A couple of previously announced honors also were handed out at the event. Neil Diamond was presented with the prestigious Legend of Live award, while the Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour by the Cirque du Soleil troupe received the Creative Content Award.
The 2012 Billboard Touring Awards ceremony was held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. The bash served as the finale of the ninth annual Billboard Touring Conference, which began on Wednesday.
