Image credit: Julie GardnerNeil Young & Crazy Horse are the latest music stars set to contribute their talents to help raise money for the many people in the northeastern U.S. who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. The veteran rockers will play a benefit show on Thursday, December 6, at Borgata Casino Resort & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, one of the areas hardest hit by the storm.
The show will take place two days after Young and his group's last scheduled 2012 tour date, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On Sunday, Neil plans to visit Atlantic City, where he will meet with members of the press and check out firsthand the destruction Sandy caused.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy relief effort. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at TheBorgata.com.
