The inaugural Merry Minstrel Musical Circus: A Holiday Gathering and Goodwill Jamathon will take place at L.A.'s famous Troubadour club, and will raise money for the Little Kids Rock organization and the Tazzy Animal Rescue Fund.
Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench also will be on hand for the show, as will other as-yet-unannounced special guests. The Merry Minstrel Musical Circus was created by Campbell with his co-organizer, singer/songwriter Jonathan Wilson, who opened for Petty & the Heartbreakers on their 2012 summer tour in Europe.
Tickets for the concert cost $35, and are available now via the Troubadour box office and website.
Little Kids Rock supports music education programs in schools located in low-income areas, and the Tazzy fund aids elderly and infirm dogs in need of food, medical care and shelter.
