Ronnie Spector Playing Three Special Holiday Shows this Month

Facebook.com/RonnieSpectorRonnie Spector has a trio of special holiday concerts lined up in the northeastern U.S. during the coming week or so.  The legendary Ronettes singer will bring her show, dubbed "Ronnie Spector's Best Christmas Party Ever!," to B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill in New York City on Friday, the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, on Saturday, and the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, on December 22.  Spector's Connecticut show is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ronnie began playing her yuletide-themed gigs back in 1988.  Fans attending the concerts can expect to hear some of the soulful renditions of the classic holiday tunes The Ronettes recorded for the 1963 album A Christmas Gift for You.  These include "Frosty the Snowman," "Sleigh Ride" and "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."
