Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks Among Stars Featured on Soundtrack to Dave Grohl's "Sound City" Documentary

Roswell RecordsSongs featuring Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks are among the 11 tunes appearing on the soundtrack for Foo Fighters frontman/ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl's upcoming documentary, Sound City -- Real to Reel.

iTunes has unveiled the album's full track list and, as expected, it includes the studio version of "Cut Me Some Slack," the song that McCartney played with Grohl, former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and Foo Fighters/ex-Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear during the star-studded 12.12.12 -- The Concert for Sandy Relief benefit show at New York City's Madison Square Garden this past week.

Nicks, meanwhile, lends vocals to a tune titled "Can't Fix This," a collaboration with Grohl, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Wallflowers/Foo Fighters keyboardist Rami Jaffee. Other artists featured on the album include Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen, veteran pop-rocker Rick Springfield and members of such popular hard-rock acts as Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot and Queens of the Stone Age.

"Cut Me Some Slack" currently is available for purchase as a digital download via iTunes, while the entire album can be pre-ordered now and is expected to be released on March 12.
