DaveDavies.comKinks guitarist Dave Davies is releasing a remastered and expanded version of Fortis Green, his 1999 collection of demo recordings.  Fortis Green 2 is due out this Sunday and can be pre-ordered now exclusively through the 65-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's online store.

The limited-edition reissue offers two tracks not included on the original album, a rendition of the Victorian-era standard "After the Ball" and an outtake recording of Davies struggling with the vocals of that tune.  It's priced at $24, including shipping costs.

In other news, Dave has offered a little update about his new forthcoming solo studio effort via his official website.  The album is titled I Will Be Me and he expects to release it early next year.  The record will featured some as-yet-unrevealed musical guests.
