Frontiers RecordsThe veteran pop-rock act Player is set to return with its first studio album in almost two decades.  Too Many Reasons is scheduled to be released on February 26.  It will feature 12 new original tunes, as well as an acoustic rendition of the band's biggest hit, "Baby Come Back," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1978.

The current Player lineup features two original members, singer/guitarist/songwriter Peter Beckett and bassist/vocalist Ronn Moss.  Moss also known for his acting work, and is a longtime cast member of the CBS' soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.

"It's wonderful to have our new music out in the world again," says Moss in a statement.  "Our sound, our vocals, are stronger than they've ever been."

Adds Beckett, "[I'm] thrilled with the way the CD turned out.  There's a little bit of everything on there...rock, R&B, pop ballads...something for everyone."
