Kevin Kane/WireImageDarlene Love will help David Letterman usher in the holidays when she makes her annual pre-Christmas appearance on CBS' Late Show this Friday. The soulful singer has been performing her yuletide classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" on the last Late Show episode before Christmas nearly every year since Dave began hosting the show in 1993, and she also belted out the tune on NBC's Late Night with David Letterman from 1986 through 1992.
Late Show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.
"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" originally appeared on the Phil Spector-produced 1963 album A Chrstmas Gift for You. Love also is known for singing "He's a Rebel," the chart-topping 1962 hit for The Crystals.
Meanwhile, Love also has a handful of upcoming concert appearances on her schedule, including a Christmas-themed fundraiser this Saturday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show will benefit the arts center as well as the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs.
