Nate D. Sanders AuctionsA Swarovski crystal-encrusted glove that Michael Jackson wore at the 1984 American Music Awards has sold at auction for $199,069.
That's one of the highest prices fetched for one of the late entertainer's gloves, according to Nate D. Sanders auction house, which organized the bidding. What makes the glove particularly special is that it's black, unlike the trademark white ones that the late King of Pop typically wore during his performances and public appearances.
Another bit of Jackson memorabilia, one of the red leather "Beat It" jackets that he wore on his 1984 Thriller tour, also sold at auction. The jacket, which was signed and given by MJ to the son of then-Epic Records President Ron Alexenburg, brought in $84,422.
