Documentary About The Who's "Quadrophenia" to Air on BBC America Next Month

Polydor Ltd.While The Who recharges between legs of its "Quadrophenia and More" North American tour, fans soon will be able to watch a documentary about the making of the band's celebrated 1973 rock opera on television.  The Who: Quadrophenia -- Can You See the Real Me? will air on BBC America on January 4 at 10 p.m. ET.

The film, which was shown in theaters back in July at special one-night-only screenings, takes an in-depth look at how the classic album came together.  Quadrophenia -- Can You See the Real Me? includes recent interviews with guitarist/singer Pete Townshend, as well as rare archival footage of the band from the same time period from when Quadrophenia was released.

The movie recently was made available for purchase as a digital download via iTunes for $9.99.

The Who kicks off the second leg of its "Quadrophenia and More" tour on January 28 in Anaheim, California.  The rockers recently added a second Las Vegas date to their itinerary -- a February 10 performance at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
