Facebook.com/TheRollingStonesIt's been an eventful year for The Rolling Stones, as the band marked its 50th anniversary with a career-spanning documentary and a well-received series concerts in London and the New York City area. Now, all four band members -- and one of the group's alumni -- are showing their appreciation to fans in a series of photos posted on Facebook that show each band member holding up a handwritten holiday message.
Frontman Mick Jagger's note reads, "Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all our friends everywhere."
Guitarist Keith Richards says in his message, "Happy Holidays to all of you. 'Gold rings on you.'"
Drummer Charlie Watts writes, "Dear All, Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Thank you for everything."
Guitarist Ronnie Wood, who reportedly just got married this past Friday, holds a message that reads, "Hey you Stones fans! Happy Christmas!!! Ronnie *** 2012."
Meanwhile, ex-Stones guitar player Mick Taylor, who joined the British rock legends on stage for most of their 50th anniversary gigs, writes, "Happy Christmas + Happy New Year to Rolling Stones fans worldwide. Thank you for your support."
Happy holidays to you too, Stones. We're sure fans are anxious to find out what you'll be doing in the new year!
