Heart to Hit the Road Again After Action-Packed Year

Facebook.com/HeartWhat a year it's been for Heart and the band's leaders, Ann and Nancy Wilson.

2012 saw the group receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, release a career-spanning box set titled Strange Euphoria and a new studio album, Fanatic, and tour extensively. Nancy Wilson, meanwhile, got married for a second time -- walking down the aisle in May with Fox TV executive Geoff Bywater. In addition, the Wilson sisters teamed up to write an autobiography, Kicking & Dreaming, that was published in late September.

The icing on the cake was the announcement earlier this month that Heart will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.

Before the band gets welcomed into that hallowed institution, the Wilsons and their group still have some more rocking to do. Heart has lined up a series of late-January dates in the northeastern U.S., and also will head north of the border in March for a Canadian tour.

The band's 2013 itinerary kicks off with a January 25 concert in Worcester, Massachusetts, and is plotted out through a March 25 show in Montreal. Who touring guitarist Simon Townshend will serve as the opening act at the Canadian dates.
