Image courtesy Allman Brothers BandThe Allman Brothers Band are kicking off the New Year by looking ahead to their annual residency at New York's Beacon Theatre. The band has announced that the residency will begin March 1 and end March 16, with a total of ten shows.
The residency usually includes special guests but so far, none have been announced for this year's shows.
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 11 at the Beacon Theatre website and via Ticketmaster, and at the Beacon Theatre box office the next day, if any tickets remain. You can see the dates there, and at AllmanBrothersBand.com.
In other news, the Allman Brothers will be among the artists playing Eric Clapton's Crossroads Benefit at New York's Madison Square Garden April 12 and 13. They'll also appear at Florida's Wanee Music Festival April 19 and 20.
