Songs by Joe Walsh, Warren Zevon Featured on New "Californication" Soundtrack Album

eOne MusicJoe Walsh and the late Warren Zevon are among the many artists featured on a soon-to-be-released compilation album being issued in conjunction with the new season of the Showtime series Californication.  Music from the Showtime Series Californication Season 6 will hit stores on January 15, two days after the season premiere of the show.

The album includes Walsh's "Funk 50," which also appears on the Eagles guitarist's 2012 solo effort, Analog Man; and Zevon's "For My Next Trick, I'll Need a Volunteer," which is originally from the singer/songwriter's 2000 release, Life'll Kill Ya.  The soundtrack also offers a number of interesting cover tunes, among them a rendition of David Bowie's "Suffragette City" by *** Pistols guitarist Steve Jones.  In addition to contributing to the album, Jones also will be a guest star on Californication this year.
