Queen Guitarist Brian May's "Born Free" Charity Singles Now Available at iTunes

Duck Productions LtdQueen guitarist Brian May recently recorded updated versions of the hit theme song to the popular 1966 wildlife film Born Free with British singer/actress Kerry Ellis, and the tracks are now available in the U.S. via iTunes.  Proceeds raised from sales of the downloads will benefit the Born Free Foundation and its campaign to protect the dwindling population of wild African lions.  Acoustic and "large-scale" versions of the tune can be purchase read more ≫


The Yardbirds Releasing Their "Making Tracks" DVD Next Week

Cher.comCher's new studio album -- her first since 2001's Living Proof -- was supposed to come out this year, but it's now been pushed to 2013.  Specifically, March of 2013, according to Billboard.

Billboard reports that a top executive at Cher's record label, Warner Bros., confirmed that information Friday on the red carpet of the magazine's 2012 Women in Music event. read more ≫
