BET's "Black Girls Rock!" Awards Show Featuring Dionne Warwick Tribute Airing Sunday Night

DXXNYC.comDon't forget to check out Black Girls Rock! on BET this Sunday night.  The third installment of the annual awards show will premiere at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT, and features a tribute to Dionne Warwick.

The singer is presented with the Living Legend Award during the ceremony, which is hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King.   R&B superstar Alicia Keys and up-and-coming singer Janelle Monae also are among the night's honorees.  The roster of performers includes Keys, Brandy, India.Arie, Keyshia Cole and Ciara. read more ≫

Heidi Gutman/NBCA bevy of music stars, including Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Sting and members of Aerosmith, joined together on Friday to perform on the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together disaster relief telethon.  The hour-long special, which aired commercial free on NBC Universal broadcast and cable outlets, among other stations, raised money for the American Red Cross' efforts to aid those affected by the superstorm that decimated the New York-New Jersey area earlier in the week. read more ≫
