Carole King Musical to Premiere on Broadway Next Spring

Rolling Stones Reportedly Confirmed for Two London Concerts, U.S. Arena Tour

New Jim Morrison Documentary in the Works; Hopes to Debunk Myths About Late Doors Singer

Z-Machine ProductionsA new independent documentary about Jim Morrison that recently began production is hoping to break on through the myths surrounding the late Doors frontman and portray him in a more realistic and down-to-earth light. 

Before the End: Jim Morrison Comes of Age will feature interviews with Morrison family members and various friends of the singer, and will include rare home movies and photos from his early years.  Z-Machine, a company run by husband-and-wife filmmakers Jeff and Jess Finn, is spearheading the project. read more ≫

Meat Loaf Preparing to Step Up to the Plate for Final Tour

Facebook.com/MeatLoafMeat Loaf is planning to close the curtain on his career as a touring artist this year with a final trek that will begin next month with a European leg.  The singer's Last At Bat Farewell Tour kicks off April 5 in Newcastle, England, and currently is mapped out through a May 17 show in Dublin, Ireland. read more ≫

Eagles Box Set Due in April; Band Members to Attend UK Premiere of Documentary That Month

Rhino RecordsA new box set featuring all of studio albums The Eagles released during their 1970s heyday is scheduled to hit stores on April 2.  Eagles: The Studio Albums 1972-1979 is a no-frills collection that gathers the band's first six records -- 1972's Eagles, 1973's Desperado, 1974's On the Border, 1975's One of These Nights, 1976's Hotel California and 1979's The Long Run.

The discs are packaged in a black clamshell box, with each CD housed in paper jacket that replicates the original album art.  The box set is priced at $39.99. read more ≫
