Rod Stewart Shoots Down "That" Rumor in New Memoir

Crown ArchetypeRod Stewart's new memoir, Rod: The Autobiography, is full of true stories of ***, ***** and rock 'n' roll, but it also includes the origin and then denial of one particular rumor that's been dogging the singer for years.  You may know the one we're talking about...the one that involves sailors and a stomach pump.

In an excerpt from Rod published in Rolling Stone magazine, Stewart explains that the entire story was a fabrication cooked up by Tony Toon, his assistant and publicist in the '70s, as a way to get back at him after Rod fired him. read more ≫

Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Otis Redding Among Inaugural Memphis Music Hall of Fame Inductees

MemphisRocknSoul.orgElvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis are among the legendary artists who have been chosen as the inaugural inductees into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.  A total of 25 honorees will be welcomed into the institution at a gala ceremony scheduled for November 29 at Cannon Center for Performing Arts in Memphis.  Also being inducted at the event will be Otis Redding, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Booker T. and The MG's, ZZ Top, The Staple Singers, B.B. King and Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, among others. read more ≫
