The Who Releasing Vintage Live Album, Vinyl Box Set of Entire Studio Catalog in November

GeffenThe Who is planning to treat fans to a couple of special releases that will arrive in stores in time for the holiday season.  On November 6, the band will issue the Live at Hull 1970 concert album as a separate two-CD package, while on November 20, a limited-edition box set featuring high-quality vinyl versions of all of the band's studio efforts will be released. read more ≫

Photo: Myriam SantosFormer Eagles guitarist Don Felder is back with a brand-new album called Road to Forever, his first full-length recording since his acrimonious split with the group in 2001 and his first solo effort since 1983's Airborne.  Speaking recently with ABC News Radio, the veteran musician reveals that album came together at the same time he was writing his 2008 memoir, Heaven and ****: My Life in the Eagles, which not only documents his firing from the group but also the breakup of his long marriage to his first wife and other issues with which he struggled. read more ≫


Thin Lizzy Members Decide to Stop Touring, Won't Release New Album Under the Moniker

Members of the band's current incarnation have announced that they'll stop touring under that name after the end of the year.  In addition, longtime Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham reveals that the group won't release the new album its recording under the moniker, as they'd initially planned. read more ≫
