Joe Walsh, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr Among Artists Taking Part in New Recording Project

Image Courtesy Joe Walsh via TwitterJoe Walsh apparently is involved in a very interesting project that's coming together at Los Angeles' famous Capitol Records Studios.  The Eagles guitarist posted a photo on Twitter over the weekend featuring himself, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, producer Don Was, Jeff Beck bassist Tal Wilkenfeld, journeyman session drummer Jim Keltner and bluesman Keb' Mo', accompanied by a message that reads, "Cooking up something here at Capitol Records!  I think you'll like it. read more ≫


Alice Cooper Planning Covers Album Paying Tribute to His Famous Former Drinking Buddies

Universal Music EnterprisesAlice Cooper is planning to pay tribute to some of his musical friends with a new album of cover tunes he's hoping to have ready for a 2014 release.  At designer John Varvatos' recent charity fundraiser in Los Angeles, the shock rocker shared details about the project with Rolling Stone, revealing that it will be an homage to the members of his old 1970s drinking club that was known as the Hollywood Vampires. read more ≫


Cher to Co-Host New Film Showcase on TCM

Courtesy TCMCher is a Grammy-winning singer, but she's also an Oscar-winning actress, which is why she's the perfect co-host for a new film showcase on Turner Classic Movies, aka TCM.

Starting April 5 at 8 p.m. ET, Cher and TCM host Robert Osborne will present the showcase, called Friday Night Spotlight.  The first month's theme will be "A Woman's World: The Defining Era of Women in Film," and it'll feature 17 films hand-picked by Cher that illustrate women's roles in movies from the late 1930s through the early 1950s.  read more ≫


Elton John Collaboration with Fall Out Boy Confirmed
