Barbra Streisand Headed for 32nd Top 10 Album

Columbia RecordsBarbra Streisand's still got it.  The diva's new album, Release Me -- a collection of previously unheard material -- is headed for a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. 

If the album lands in the top 10, it will mark her 32nd album to reach the milestone overall, and her sixth straight chart-topper.  That streak began in 2003 with The Movie Album, and right now extends to 2009's Love Is the Answer. read more ≫


Lovin' Spoonful Members, Ellie Greenwich Among 2012 Long Island Music Hal of Fame Inductees

LIMusicHallofFame.orgJoe Butler and Steve Boone of The Lovin' Spoonful and late songwriting legend Ellie Greenwich are among the luminaries who will be welcomed into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame at a gala event taking place this Thursday in Huntington, New York.  The institution's other 2012 inductees include singer/actress Connie Stevens, '80s pop star Taylor Dayne, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and hip-hop stars Salt n' Pepa, among others. read more ≫


Stevie Nicks: Fleetwood Mac Will Go on Tour in "April or May"; New Music May Be Coming

FleetwoodMac.comBack in June, Stevie Nicks confirmed that she would return to Fleetwood Mac in 2013, and that the group would be hitting the road.  Now, she's offered a timetable for that hotly anticipated event.

"We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February," she tells ABC News Radio.  "So...if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out [on the road] by end of April [or] May, I would think."

Not only that, but Stevie says the Mac may record some new songs as well. read more ≫


The Rolling Stones Announce US & UK Live Shows

RollingStones.comYes, The Rolling Stones are hitting the road -- although it's not for a full-out tour, at least not yet.

In a video posted on their official website, the Stones reveal they're playing a total of four shows in November and December, dubbed 50 & ********: The Rolling Stones Live, a reference to this year marking the band's 50th anniversary together. read more ≫
