Donna Summer, Procol Harum, The Marvelettes Among Nominees for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Rock and Roll Hall of FameThe nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2013 were announced early Thursday, and they include Donna Summer, Procol Harum and The Marvelettes.
The other nominees are Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Randy Newman, Rush, Deep Purple, Kraftwerk, Chic, Albert King, The Meters and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
The veteran acts will make a bid for entry into the Rock Hall for the first time, as will influential rap groups Public Enemy and N.W.A. read more ≫
