Beatles Releasing Limited-Edition Single to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of "Love Me Do"

ParlophoneThis Friday marks the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles' "Love Me Do" single, the band's first offering on the Parlophone label.  To celebrate the milestone, a special limited-edition vinyl disc is being made available.  The retro-looking 45 rpm single, which features "Love Me Do" on the A side and "Please Please Me" and the B side, can be pre-ordered now at The Beatles' official online store for $12.99. read more ≫

Joe Walsh Says Upcoming Eagles Documentary Is "Powerful Stuff"; Looks Forward to 40th Anniversary Tour

Credit: Sam JonesJoe Walsh has been quite busy this year promoting his new solo album, Analog Man, but come 2013, the guitarist says ***** be very much focused on all things Eagles.  To mark their 40th anniversary, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are preparing an in-depth documentary on their history, and also have plans to mount a special tour celebrating the milestone.

Speaking recently with ABC News Radio, Walsh reveals that the documentary, which apparently is called The Story of the Eagles, is "about 80-percent done" and should released early in the New Year. read more ≫
