Lady Gaga Fights Weight Criticism by Asking Fans to Embrace ‘Flaws’

Alo Ceballos/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- Lady Gaga‘s turning the criticism about her weight gain into a tool to help others. Tuesday on her social networking site, LittleMonsters.com, she launched a Body Revolution section to “inspire bravery” and "celebrate with us your ‘perceived flaws.’”

She also posted a picture of herself, eyes closed, wearing a bra and panties, with the caption: “Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.” She’s encouraging her fans to do the same. read more ≫


Americans Pick Their Favorite Salty Snacks

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- The heck with hypertension, Americans love their salty snacks and the number one treat, according to a brand recognition survey by YouGov BrandIndex, is Ritz Crackers.

It's the second year in a row that the Nabisco product, a favorite since the 1930’s, has topped the list with an overall favorability rating of 55.2, just a smidgen higher than in 2011.

Trailing Ritz in second place is Lay’s Potato Chips while Doritos Tortilla Chips and Fritos Corn Chips, each made by Frito-Lay’s, finished third and fourth. Here’s the top ten: read more ≫

Julien's AuctionsRolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and his ex-wife Jo Wood are auctioning fine and decorative art, antiques, and personal property to benefit needy musicians. The auction includes memorabilia from the Stones, Faces, and Ron's solo career as a musician and an artist.

Featured music items include a Mick Jagger handwritten note to Wood, a Rolling Stones poster signed by Jagger, original John Lennon and Steven Verona cartoon drawings used in The Beatles’ first music video, as well as Wood's painted portraits of Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, and Bob Dylan.  read more ≫

Stockbyte/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Eric Morgan, in his 20s and planning to get married, arrives at Highland Hospital's emergency room, shaken that he has been diagnosed with a testicular tumor that is likely cancer.

Surgeons at a private hospital have turned him away for lack of insurance but tell him it's "urgent" he get care.
