Aerosmith's Tyler & Perry Talk "Music from Another Dimension!", "American Idol" Spat on "Good Morning America"

Ross HalfinAerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry are looking to thrill future generations of space travelers with their upcoming album. The duo stopped by ABC’s Good Morning America on Monday and told GMA’s Cecilia Vega that the band was looking to create something unique for their 15th studio album, Music from Another Dimension! 

“We put our ideas together where it was like, what if we write a song for what their going to listen to in the shuttle 20 years from now going to Mars,” reveals the singer. “What kind of song would they want to hear?” read more ≫


NYC Schools Give 'Morning After' Pill to Teens

Joe Raedle/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The pilot program that allows teens to access the contraceptive **** Plan B in 13 New York City schools -- perhaps the first of its kind in the country -- may be eventually implemented citywide.

According to the city's Board of Health, parents can "opt out" of the program, but only 1 to 2 percent has chosen to do so.

"The proof is in the pudding," said health department spokesman Chanel Caraway. "Overall, this suggests that parents are OK with the service being available to their children."  read more ≫


Food Industry Braces for New Study on Marketing to Kids

George Doyle/Stockbyte(NEW YORK) -- A food industry representative Monday said she is hopeful that a revised Federal Trade Commission report on how companies promote their products to children will reflect improvements in food marketing to that audience when it’s released later this year.

“I know there have been many positive changes,” Elaine Kolish, director of the Children’s Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative, said of the 16-company, self-regulating initiative she represents that includes Kraft Foods and McDonald’s. read more ≫


Katie Couric: ‘I Wrestled With Bulimia’

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Katie Couric reveals on her show today that she struggled with bulimia from her late teens to her early 20s.

“I wrestled with bulimia all through college, and for two years after that,” the talk show host tells eating disorders specialist Cynthia Bulik, according to a transcript of today’s show obtained by ABC News.

Couric’s revelation comes amid her interview today with pop star and X Factor judge Demi Lovato, who has also battled eating disorders. read more ≫


Parents Picky About Kids' Prescriptions

A new study published today in the journal Pediatrics suggests that parents are usually good about filling their kids' prescriptions for antibiotics, but not their vitamins.  read more ≫
