Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Guns N' Roses Among Acts on 2012 Bridge School Benefit Lineup

Dorothy McGuire, far right/Sepia RecordsDorothy McGuire of the popular vocal group the McGuire Sisters **** Friday in Paradise Valley, Arizona, The New York ***** reports.  She was 84. 

Dorothy, along with her sisters -- Christine, 86, and Phyllis, 81 -- earned six gold records and scored a string of hits as a trio in the 1950s and early ‘60s, including “Sincerely” and “Sugartime.” read more ≫

Paul McCartney Receives French Legion of Honor Award in Paris

Mary McCartney/MPL Communications Ltd.Paul McCartney received France's Legion of Honor award on Saturday at a private ceremony at Paris' Elysee Palace.  The Beatles legend was presented with the prize by French President Francois Hollande, who raised McCartney to an Officer in the Legion in acknowledgement of his career musical contributions. read more ≫
