Graham Nash Art Exhibit to Open in New York City this October

Photo: Elde StewartA new exhibition of Graham Nash's artwork will open in New York City on October 11.  "The Art of Graham Nash" will be on display at the ACA Galleries until October 27. 

The exhibit will coincide with Crosby, Stills & Nash's four-concert run at the Big Apple's Beacon Theater, scheduled for October 16, 17, 19 and 20.  Nash is expended to attend an event to be held in celebration of the exhibition, although a date for the bash has not been set. read more ≫


John Lennon's Killer Scheduled to Have Parole Hearing This Week

Mark David Chapman pleaded guilty to second-degree ****** and was sentenced to 20 years to life for gunning down the Beatle outside of his Manhattan apartment complex on Dec. 8, 1980.

A decision regarding Chapman's release could come as soon as Thursday or Friday, according to the New York Department of Corrections. read more ≫


Today Marks the 50th Anniversary of Ringo Starr's First Gig as a Beatle

FPG/Hulton Archive/Getty ImagesThe first concert Ringo Starr played with The Beatles after officially joining the group happened 50 years ago today.  The drummer's debut set as a Fab Four member took place at 10 p.m. at Hulme Hall in Birkenhead, England, at an annual dance for a horticultural society.  Two days earlier, the group fired Pete Best, reportedly after producer George Martin had complained about his poor drumming at a recent recording session. read more ≫
