ELO's Jeff Lynne Releasing Two New Albums This Fall

Who Fans Exchange Tickets from Canceled 1979 Rhode Island Concert for Passes to New Show

MSO PRA handful of Who fans who held onto tickets from a 1979 show the band canceled in Providence, Rhode Island, will get to see the rock legends play free of charge at the city's Dunkin Donuts Center in February.  As previously reported, the arena's general manager, Larry Lepore, offered anyone willing to trade in tickets from the nixed concert replacement passes to the February 26 Providence show, which is the last scheduled stop on The Who's upcoming North American Quadrophenia tourread more ≫

Adam Nelson/Workhouse PRAs Grateful Dead fans remember the late Jerry Garcia on what would have been his 70th birthday, another rock legend, David Crosby, has composed a special poem paying homage to the revered guitarist and songwriter.  Crosby will read the piece, "Cause I'm Missing Him Tonight," during a free webcast event called "Move Me Brightly" that will be streamed live from founding Dead member Bob Weir's TRI Studios in San Rafael, California, on Friday. read more ≫

In a lengthy essay to which he has tweeted a link, Jermaine relates a conversation that he had with his son, Jaafar, in which Jaafar asked him, "Is it true that we cannot visit grandmother's house as a family anymore?"  This "heart-breaking" conversation, writes Jermaine, caused him to reconsider the events of the past few weeks. read more ≫
