The 58-year-old musician, who's played guitar with the band since 1992, recently discovered that he's been suffering from hepatitis C, and without the operation his prognosis is not good.
"[Doctors] gave me a 50-percent chance that I…could make it two years, and that was in September," he reveals to ABC News Radio. "So, time is not my friend." read more ≫
