Read David Crosby's Tribute Poem in Honor of Jerry Garcia's 70th Birthday

Adam Nelson/Workhouse PRAs Grateful Dead fans remember the late Jerry Garcia on what would have been his 70th birthday, another rock legend, David Crosby, has composed a special poem paying homage to the revered guitarist and songwriter.  Crosby will read the piece, "Cause I'm Missing Him Tonight," during a free webcast event called "Move Me Brightly" that will be streamed live from founding Dead member Bob Weir's TRI Studios in San Rafael, California, on Friday. read more ≫

In a lengthy essay to which he has tweeted a link, Jermaine relates a conversation that he had with his son, Jaafar, in which Jaafar asked him, "Is it true that we cannot visit grandmother's house as a family anymore?"  This "heart-breaking" conversation, writes Jermaine, caused him to reconsider the events of the past few weeks. read more ≫


Bruce Springsteen Plays His Longest Concert Ever to Close European Tour

Photo: Jo LopezBruce Springsteen is famous for delivering marathon concerts with The E Street Band, but you'd think that, at 62, perhaps the Boss might be taking it a little easier on tour these days.  Nothing could be further from the truth, as Springsteen played his longest-ever documented show on Tuesday in Helsinki, Finland -- a whopping four hours and six minutes.  Not included in that time was a five-song acoustic set Springsteen played for the lucky fans who arrived early to the show. read more ≫


TMZ Retracts Its Story Claiming Janet Jackson Slapped Her Niece Paris

Blackglama.comOne of the most shocking developments in the ongoing Jackson family saga was the claim made by TMZ that Janet Jackson had publicly slapped her niece Paris Jackson and called her a "spoiled little *****," and that Paris had slapped Janet back.  At the time, Janet's brother Randy Jackson denied such an altercation had taken place, and now TMZ has retracted its story. read more ≫
