NeilDiamond.comOn Friday, Neil Diamond finally was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place in front of the famous Capitol Records Building, and acclaimed singer/songwriter Randy Newman was on hand to introduce the pop legend before the marker was unveiled.
Praising Diamond's writing talents, Newman said, "He thought big in his songs, and they're expansive&****ip;with big ideas."
Newman also marveled that it took the Rock and Roll Hall of until 2011 to induct Diamond. read more ≫
