Stephen Bishop reissuing 1980 album featuring contributions from Clapton, Collins and Garfunkel

Blixa SoundsVeteran pop singer/songwriter Stephen Bishop will release an expanded and remastered version of his third album, 1980’s Red Cab to Manhattan, on May 11. While the record doesn’t contain any hits, it notably features guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Art Garfunkel and Procol Harum‘s Gary Brooker.

The original album boasted 12 songs, and the reissue includes six bonus tracks, among them a cover of Ray Charles‘ classic 1961 smash “Hit the Road Jack.”
