Cancer Pathways (formerly Gilda’s Club) is just the most amazing place with the most amazing support for persons touched by cancer–so the person dealing with the disease, but family members and friends are invited to find support. Anna Gottleib is the Executive Director and gives and overview of the great things we can expect during the year–including 5 Camp Sparkle locations for kids–these are filling up fast! And Liz Lange provides the overview for the great Essay Contest–Cancer Unwrapped. In its 13th year, it is a special way that high school students have the opportunity to express in print their emotions about a confrontation with the disease–could be their own, could be a friend, or a family member. Winners receive a $1000 award to use as they wish. Contest is now open across the country.
