Laura & Todd Crooks are the parents of Chad, a brilliant young man, with so many dreams, who died too young as a result of mental illness. Laura and Todd have not allowed their grief to stop them from doing something that will help other families, other young persons, not have to deal with such pain. They have created “Chad’s Legacy Project” a non profit “committed to the advancement of mental health education and treatment of mental illness”. Saturday, Sept 9 is a major fundraiser–Unmask the Night. These funds help support the ‘2017 Mental Health Summit to be held October 5, at UW. www.chadslegacy.org
