Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe postpone North American tour with Poison and Joan Jett until 2021

Live NationDef Leppard and Mötley Crüe‘s North American summer tour with Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts has been postponed until next year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We wanted to continue to communicate with our fans and update you with valid information as it becomes available,” the bands write in a joint statement posted on their respective websites and social media pages. “The official decision has been made to move all 2020 North American Stadium Tour dates into the summer of 2021.”

Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled shows, the exact dates for which have yet to be announced. Information regarding refunds will “be made available shortly.”

The Stadium Tour had been scheduled to run from a June 18 concert in Jacksonville, Florida, through a September 5 show near Los Angeles. The trek will be Mötley Crüe’s first live outing since playing what was then called the band’s “final” show on New Year’s Eve 2015.
