Brenna Ramos and Katelyn Hall with Hand in Hand join us to let us know the great work their organization is doing in Snohomish County. Hand in Hand’s Safe Place is a 72-hour shelter for kids potentially entering foster care. Not only do they provide the children with backpacks and toothbrushes, but clothing and a blanket. Once the kids are settled in at Safe Place, the volunteers play games with them and help them feel loved and cared for. Besides the Safe Place shelter, Hand in Hand’s Outreach Program is very involved in their community. Throughout the year, their Outreach team provides support and community engagement opportunities for children and families. They are also preparing for their virtual fundraiser coming up in October.
