October 10
Edmonds Center for The Arts

Back by popular demand!  Edmonds Center for the Arts will once again present its annual Film Cabaret Series – a selection of classic films whose stunning cinematography and iconic music were made to be experienced on the big screen. Films are shown on ECA’s state-of-the-art digital cinema system, and open with a cabaret-style happy hour featuring live music.

This year’s Film Cabaret Series kicks off with a screening of Casablanca (1942) on screen, and features Jazz Americana trio Max Hatt/Edda Glass.

Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman light up the screen in one of the most enduring romances in movie history. The film won eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Music.

Max Hatt/Edda Glass have a unique sound that’s taken the artists across the county from NYC’s Lincoln Center, DC’s Kennedy Center, and the Sundance Film Festival. Edda Glass has been praised for her impeccable vocal command and has been compared to Astrud Gilberto and Billie Holliday.

Cabaret events start at 6:30 pm, with film screenings at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $20, and include admission to the pre-film cabaret.
