In an event sure to delight outdoors enthusiasts, Benaroya Hall in Seattle will come alive with beautiful musical compositions by the Northwest Symphony Orchestra (NWSO) coupled with lovely imagery of U.S. national parks.  The spectacular performance, “National Parks at Benaroya,” celebrates the 25th anniversary of Washington’s National Park Fund (WNPF), the official philanthropic partner for Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. Funds raised by WNPF augment federal funding and enable more than 40 projects annually in these parks.
The event will feature NWSO performing Antonin Dvorak’s most popular symphony, “From the New World,” alongside the West Coast premiere of Adrian Wyard’s live “Visuals from National Parks.” In addition, NWSO will perform Richard Wagner’s “Entry of the Gods into Valhalla” while selected photos and videos by local outdoors fans are showcased.

Proceeds to Benefit Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks.
